Traveling to Trumbull Manor

There are three major international airports in the Bay Area: San Francisco International (SFO), Oakland International (OAK), and San Jose International (SJO).

Public Transportation From SFO (San Francisco Airport) To Hamilton Field, Nova

MARIN AIRPORTER: (www.marinairporter.com) leaves hourly between 5:00 a.m. to 11:30pm.  Check the website for specific boarding locations at the airport.  The trip to Hamilton Field in Novato is about 1½ - 2 hours The driver can give an estimate of arrival time during the trip.  Call UBER from Hamilton Terminal.

Public Transportation From OAK (Oakland Airport) To Novato

Sonoma County Airport Bus Service is handled by Groome Transportation (www.groometransportation.com) from Oakland Airport to San Rafael: (continues North to Sonoma Airport but does not stop anywhere in Novato or on the freeway). Telephone 707‑837‑8700.  Leaves Oakland Airport every two hours from 5:30am a.m. to 9:30 pm.  Get off at San Rafael Transit Center at 3rd and Hetherton, 1‑hour travel time. Check the SMART trains schedule to travel from San Rafael to Novato and then call UBER.

 Bus Service from San Rafael to Novato:  (www.goldengatetransit.org).  Take Golden Gate Transit bus from San Rafael Transit Center to Novato (Redwood & Grant).  The schedule for weekdays is every one‑half hour and on weekends and holidays every hour (both ways).  Call Trumbull Manor from the bus stop in Novato.  30 minutes travel time. 

Public Transportation From Sonoma County Airport (Charles M. Shultz Airport) To Novato 

Sonoma County Airport is a couple of (long) miles walk to the SMART Train Terminal providing quick access to Novato. At this time, it is advisable to take a taxi or Uber from the airport to the terminal. Once in Novato call Uber for transport to Trumbull Manor.

Public Transportation From SJO (San Jose Airport) To Novato 

Take the free shuttle to the Caltrain depot at Santa Clara.  (www.caltrain.com)  Take the train from Santa Clara to Millbrae.  The ride is about 35 minutes and is two “zones” long. At Millbrae switch to the Bart train (www.bart.gov) to get to SFO, a short ride.  Travel time 1 hour.  Follow the instructions above for SFO.
